Sanitizing Surfaces

Coronavirus (COVID-19)
OFFICE HOURS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

RHHC Policies & Recommendations

Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing is imperative. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Visitors to our offices will be asked to clean their hands, don a mask or facial covering, and social distance.

The CDC's guidance is adopted by RHHC; it is our policy that “social distancing” will be practiced and face coverings worn at all times---at the office or in the homes of those we service---to reduce the risks of spread/exposure to COVID-19.

Under certain circumstances (for example, when people are in enclosed spaces with poor ventilation), COVID-19 can sometimes be spread by airborne transmission. For this reason, and out of an abundance of caution, RHHC facilities are also equipped with air purifiers---that destroy viruses.

COVID-19 spreads less commonly through contact with contaminated surfaces. RHHC's daily office cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces is consistent with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.

Our policy on visitors to RHHC offices is consistent with CDC guidelines. A visitor must watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19, and may be refused access to facilities---if on query or assessment----the visitor is considered a risk.

If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your healthcare provider.
